Environment & Sustainability

SUSTAINABLE SOURCES
All our materials are grown and processed in Turkiye under certified conditions that maintain the soil and planet.
We value the importance of protecting our environment and water resources. All our products are GOTS certified organic cotton, silk and wool.
The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) was developed by leading standard setters to define world-wide recognised requirements for organic textiles. From the harvesting of the raw materials, environmentally and socially responsible manufacturing to labelling, textiles certified to GOTS provide a credible assurance to the consumer.
ARTISANS
Our artisans are extremely skilled craftsmen producing the finest, quality products that are unmatched anywhere in the world.
In addition our kilims, rugs and cushion covers are traditionally handwoven with historical techniques carefully crafted by the women across many regions of Turkiye and neighbouring countries.
It is important for Turkish Bath & Home to recognise and support the values, work and the positive effect this has for the weavers – to honour tradition, their craftsmanship and sustain and support communities and the environment.
OUR WEAVERS
Turkiye is a captivating country full of history dating back to pre-historic civilisation. Its culture is so uniquely diverse and historically fascinating. So many civilisations from pre-historic to now walked and fought the diverse ranges and cultures.
Each piece of woven product demonstrates not only the tradition but the culture of each community and the story.
